Preventive healthcare startup Cent has raised $15 million in Series A funding and acquired AI radiology platform Medsee to strengthen its early disease detection capabilities.

Preventive healthcare startup Cent has raised $15 million in a Series A funding round co-led by Blume Ventures and South Park Commons. The company has also acquired AI radiology platform Medsee to strengthen its technology capabilities. The fresh capital will support investments in medical equipment, artificial intelligence (AI) and clinical research.

Cent focuses on detecting diseases before symptoms appear. The Bengaluru-based startup combines medical imaging, biomarkers and AI to identify potential health risks at an early stage. Cent’s screening protocol combines full-body magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), low-dose computed tomography (CT) scans, bone density scans, electrocardiograms (ECG), echocardiograms (ECHO) and more than 100 biomarkers. The assessment takes around two hours and aims to identify risks linked to cancer, cardiac conditions, neurological disorders and metabolic diseases.

The company said approximately 10,000 people have undergone screening through its protocol over the past year. One in four screenings revealed findings requiring medical attention, while one in 40 identified conditions that required an immediate medical consultation.

Cent operates its own screening centres in Bengaluru, Mumbai and Delhi NCR, alongside a network of partner diagnostic laboratories. The acquisition of Medsee is expected to strengthen its AI capabilities in medical imaging and support its broader early-detection platform.

The startup aims to conduct 10 million scans by 2035 and help save one million lives through early disease detection. Its approach addresses a major healthcare challenge in India, where many non-communicable diseases are diagnosed at advanced stages.

Cent previously raised seed funding in March 2026 from OneFlow Holdings, the family office of Shashank ND, and South Park Commons. Although the company did not disclose the amount, media reports estimated the round at approximately $5 million. The latest funding comes as healthcare companies explore AI-driven diagnostics and preventive screening to identify serious conditions earlier and improve access to timely medical care.
