He sold A Cloud Guru for $2b. Now his next start-up is worth $100m

Cuttable, an advertising technology start-up founded by Sam Kroonenburg after he sold his first company for $2 billion, has cracked the $100 million valuation milestone after closing a major funding round.

Kroonenburg pocketed about $500 million from the sale of A Cloud Guru to Pluralsight in 2021, and founded Cuttable three years later. It has taken off by selling an artificial intelligence tool that lets companies create multiple versions of online ads for use across social media platforms.
