Google Finance is expanding its new artificial intelligence-powered platform across Europe this week, introducing a redesigned experience with full local language support and a broader range of market analysis tools.
According to an announcement by the company on May 11, the updated service is designed to provide users with AI-generated financial research, advanced market visualisations and expanded real-time data across stocks, commodities and cryptocurrencies. Users will be able to ask questions about individual stocks, investment sectors and wider market trends, receiving AI-generated responses alongside links to additional information.
Google said its “Deep Search” feature, which handles more complex financial queries, is now available globally through the platform.
The redesigned Google Finance also introduces charting tools for advanced visualisation. Users can explore technical indicators, including moving average envelopes, and examine key moments in stock performance through interactive charts that provide contextual explanations for price movements.
Google also added that the service’s updated news feed and broader data coverage are intended to provide more immediate market intelligence as trading conditions change. The platform now includes expanded information related to commodities and cryptocurrencies.
Another addition is a live earnings feature that allows users to follow corporate earnings calls through real-time audio streams, synchronised transcripts and AI-generated summaries. The company said the tool also produces annotated highlights intended to help users identify key moments from company briefings more quickly.
