Kuwaiti platform Dawraty is expanding its medical education and professional training model across Gulf and Arab markets, after establishing a presence in Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, and Jordan since its founding in 2023 through partnerships with universities, healthcare institutions, and government entities.
The company’s business model focuses on enabling institutions to offer specialized healthcare programs, professional certifications, and exam preparation services, rather than selling directly to end users. Dawraty relies on agreements and partnerships with key organizations in each market as a primary growth channel.
Dawraty’s current network includes Kuwait University, the University of Bahrain, and the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance, alongside a partnership with Johns Hopkins for continuing medical education.
As part of its expansion strategy, the company secured a $2 million investment from Qatar Development Bank as part of a Seed round that will remain open until the end of November, bringing Dawraty’s post-money valuation to approximately $10 million.
Dawraty plans to deploy the new funding to support its expansion across the medical education and professional training sectors, targeting Gulf and Arab markets. The move comes as educational and healthcare institutions increasingly adopt technology-enabled tools to enhance training, monitor workforce performance, and measure continuous development.
The platform currently serves multiple sectors, including universities, hospitals, academies, and government institutions, and aims to expand its institutional customer base as it enters new markets.
