Swedish medical scribe startup Tandem Health says it expanded rapidly in 2025 and is scaling across Europe. According to Sifted, CEO Lukas Saari said, “In 2025 we grew more than tenfold.” Sifted reports the company grew its customer base from just above 1,000 to 5,000 healthcare providers since June last year and is operational in 12 European countries, with the UK its largest market. At a Swedish conference, reporting by Tech.eu notes Saari and another CEO rejected the idea that frontier labs such as OpenAI or Anthropic are an existential threat, and said wider interest in chatbots helped generate demand for vertical products. Tech.eu also documents recent moves by frontier firms, including ChatGPT Health and an Anthropic legal plug-in, as context for the debate.
