Startups across Latin America raised a combined $140 million this week, based on disclosed funding rounds, with investor capital flowing primarily into AI and fintech companies. Funding also reached startups building legal AI, mining technology, and digital wealth management tools across the region.

Here are the biggest disclosed startup funding rounds across Latin America this week.
/1. Kapital, $125M, Fintech, Mexico
Kapital is an AI-powered financial institution that provides financial services and business tools to companies across Latin America and other markets. Its platform combines financial products with AI and data analytics to serve businesses.
The company secured $125 million in new financing from Tru Arrow Partners and Fasanara Capital, with participation from Cervin Ventures, Niya Partners, and Overlook Capital. The funding will support product development and expansion across Mexico, the United States, and other markets.
/2. Magnar, $8M, Legaltech, Chile
Magnar is an AI platform for lawyers that combines legal research, analysis of large amounts of information, and document drafting and review in one system. The company says its platform is used by around 30,000 users and 350 law firms.
The company raised $8 million in a Series A round led by 6 Degrees Capital and Hi Ventures. The funding will support product development, team expansion, deeper growth in existing markets, and entry into Brazil and Mexico.
