Egyptian logistics technology startup Turuq Innovations has secured seed funding from venture capital firm Den VC to strengthen its operations and expand logistics solutions for e-commerce businesses across Egypt.
Although the financial details of the investment were not disclosed, the funding will support the company’s plans to improve its technology infrastructure, increase fulfilment capacity, and expand its presence in the logistics and e-commerce sectors.
Founded by Ahmed Atta and Karim Kamal, Turuq Innovations provides technology-driven logistics services designed to help online retailers manage their supply chains without establishing their own distribution infrastructure.
The startup operates a third-party logistics platform that combines warehousing, inventory management, order processing, packaging, nationwide shipping, and last-mile delivery services.
Its technology also supports real-time shipment tracking, automated dispatching, and optimised delivery routes, helping businesses improve operational efficiency and manage customer orders.
The investment follows Turuq’s participation in InvestIT, an investment-readiness programme supported by Egypt’s Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) and Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC).
The programme, powered by Flat6Labs, provides startups with training in fundraising, business development, financial preparation, and investor engagement.
Turuq joined the initiative approximately one year before securing its latest investment, highlighting the role of entrepreneurial support programmes in preparing emerging businesses for external funding.
According to co-founder Ahmed Atta, the fresh capital will enable the company to strengthen its internal operations, develop its workforce, and establish more dependable logistics infrastructure for Egyptian e-commerce businesses.
The company has outlined several strategic priorities, including expanding its operational teams, introducing technology-supported micro-fulfilment solutions, and improving its logistics network to accommodate increasing order volumes.
It also intends to explore additional product categories and geographical markets as part of its longer-term expansion strategy.
Co-founder Karim Kamal emphasised the importance of supporting employees, business owners, and customers as the company continues developing its services.
The investment comes as Turuq seeks to position itself as a logistics partner for online merchants looking to simplify fulfilment and delivery operations.
By strengthening its infrastructure and technology capabilities, the company aims to support more e-commerce businesses and improve the efficiency of order fulfilment across Egypt.
