Domestic sports start-ups participated in “Viva Technology 2026 (Viva Tech 2026), Europe’s largest innovative technology start-up exhibition, to announce the status of K-Sports Tech.

The Seoul Olympic Memorial National Sports Promotion Foundation operated the “Viva Tech 2026 Korea Joint Hall” in which a total of 34 domestic companies participated in the Viva Tech 2026 held in Paris, France, for four days from the 17th. Among them, four sports deep-tech start-ups selected by the Korea Sports Corporation have achieved tangible export results through intensive support strategies, including in-depth consultations with 460 global conglomerates, venture capital companies (VC) and foreign government officials.

Each achievement was noticeable. Korea Mobility, a smart mobility solution company, signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Turkiye retail giant Benda Stores for the delivery of eco-friendly electric bicycles worth about 17.1 billion won. In addition, he received proposals for collaboration from world-class luxury brands Hermes and Shanell, and held a meeting with JCDecaux (JCD), Europe’s largest outdoor advertising company, for shared bicycle technology cooperation.

In addition, OneSoftDigm signed a confidentiality agreement (NDA) with a local aroma therapy company, including on-site sales of its products, and began to come up with a full-fledged cooperation plan. Christine Company has also increased its chances of entering the European market by discussing ways to introduce solutions with more than 100 global brand officials. Newzak decided to continue discussing specific introduction contracts with Europe, Africa, and Japan as immersive sports solutions without separate equipment attract great attention.

“Viva Tech 2026 was a meaningful place for Korea’s high-level technology of sports startups to be recognized globally,” an official from the Korea Sports Corporation said. “We will strengthen the post-management and customized support system so that export agreements and cooperation proposals signed on the site lead to actual sales.”
