Fintech: UAE-based Huspy acquires Italian firm Integra Finance

Huspy, a fintech start-up specialising in the development of artificial intelligence operating systems for estate agents and mortgage advisers in Europe and the Middle East, has announced that it has acquired Integra Finance, an Italian credit company serving private individuals and businesses. The deal marks the first step in Huspy’s strategy for Italy, where the company plans to invest $86.5 million (AED 318 million) with the aim of becoming one of the leading players in the mortgage and property finance sector.

The acquisition marks Huspy’s launch in Italy, reinforcing its ambition to build the largest artificial intelligence operating system for estate agents and mortgage advisers in the Middle East and Europe. Founded in Dubai in 2020, Huspy now operates in 15 cities across the United Arab Emirates, Spain, Saudi Arabia and Italy, providing AI-powered technology, services and support to estate agents and mortgage advisers. The launch marks the next phase of Huspy’s expansion, as it continues its mission to build the largest property purchasing platform in the Middle East and Europe, with a native AI-powered platform designed to enhance the experience for buyers and sellers, whilst increasing efficiency and opportunities for the professionals who support them.

“We are doubling our investment in Europe, and Italy is key to our next phase of growth. Integra Finance has built a rapidly growing business with a top-tier management team and a well-established network of advisers and partners, underpinned by a highly efficient operating model. By combining this experience and market presence with our technology and our native AI-powered systems, we aim to accelerate Integra’s growth and help transform the way estate agents, mortgage advisers and customers experience the process of buying, selling and financing a home,” said Jad Antoun, CEO and co-founder of Huspy, in a statement.

Italy is the fourth market in which Huspy operates, following the United Arab Emirates, Spain and Saudi Arabia. Huspy’s entry into the country is part of an international expansion that began in Europe with Spain in 2022 and is driven by the ambition to replicate in Italy a model based on the integration of technology, a network of property professionals and financial solutions, making the entire process of buying and financing a property simpler and more efficient.

Huspy’s decision to enter the Italian market also reflects the central role played by the property sector in the country and the opportunities created by its gradual technological evolution. In a market characterised by an extensive network of estate agents and property professionals, Huspy aims to make its AI-powered platform available to industry professionals, combining technology and services to streamline processes, create more opportunities and enhance the experience of buying and selling a home.

The acquisition of Integra Finance marks the starting point of this strategy in Italy. Founded in 2020 by Enrico Quadri and Samuele Lupidii, the chief executive and chairman respectively, Integra Finance is a credit brokerage firm specialising in mortgages, loans, financing and credit services for private individuals, professionals and businesses. Integra Finance now has over 160 advisers and a network of more than 50 banking, financial and insurance partners, operating in both the B2C and B2B sectors.

The company has also developed a diverse range of products, including mortgages, loans secured against salary and pensions, personal loans and business loans, as well as insurance services through its subsidiary Bicher, enabling it to support customers with a wide range of financial needs.

“For Huspy, a company founded in the United Arab Emirates, entering the Italian market represents an important strategic step, and Integra Finance is the ideal platform from which to begin. Our investment is based on the well-established economic partnership between our two countries, as demonstrated by the $40 billion investment commitment announced by the United Arab Emirates in February 2025 during the visit to Italy by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed. Integra Finance is Huspy’s fifth acquisition in the credit brokerage sector, and we can draw on a tried-and-tested model, already successfully implemented, to integrate these operations,” says Ziad Nassar, co-founder and deputy CEO of Huspy.

The deal reflects an expansion model that Huspy has already employed in other markets. The company has also grown by acquiring established businesses and integrating their teams and local expertise with its own operating model, technology and investment capacity. In the United Arab Emirates, Huspy acquired Home Matters in 2021 and subsequently acquired other small businesses; in Spain, it acquired Mortgage Direct in 2023.

In 2026 and 2027, Huspy plans to focus on developing the Italian market, expanding into other markets in Europe and the MENA region, and strengthening its presence in Spain, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.

The financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed, but as mentioned, it forms part of the budget of over 86 million dollars that the UAE-based company has set aside to support its expansion in the Italian market.
