Central Bank of Jordan to host second FinTech Festival in September


Amman, June 29 (Petra) – The Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ) announced
on Monday the second edition of the Jordan FinTech Festival 2026,
scheduled for September 23–24 at the King Hussein Bin Talal
Convention Centre in the Dead Sea.

CBJ Governor Adel Sharkas said the festival exhibits the Kingdom’s
evolving financial sector and its vision for a digital ecosystem that
drives sustainable development and competitiveness.

Shrkas added that the event supports Jordan’s goal of becoming a
regional fintech hub by advancing digital transformation, financial
inclusion, and innovation.

The festival will feature expert panels, specialized workshops, a
digital finance exhibition, startup pitch sessions, networking
opportunities, and a FinTech Hackathon to develop innovative digital
solutions.

It will gather financial institutions, fintech startups, regulators,
investors, and industry experts to explore global trends and showcase
emerging solutions. Panels will cover digital payments, financial and
banking digitalization, open finance, digital assets, blockchain
innovation, embedded finance, banking-as-a-service, entrepreneurship,
and sustainable finance.

The event is in partnership with the Association of Banks in Jordan
and is supported by the German Development Cooperation (GIZ).

The CBJ opened registration for interested participants. Attendance
is free, with registration available through the festival’s official
website: Jofintechfestival.com.
