EV Startup TOCAL Raises ₹9 Crore Led by XB Group to Build India's Green Logistics Infrastructure Platform

TOCAL, a technology-led EV fleet and fulfillment infrastructure company, has secured investment commitments of ₹9 crore after appearing on Startup Singam, the startup reality show airing on Star Vijay and streaming on JioHotstar. The investment round is led by XB Group, the parent group of K-Indev Logistics, with a commitment of ₹8.5 crore. The round also saw participation from Navyug Global Ventures, a family office, and Ms. Nivetha Muralidharan, an HNI investor.

The funding also marks the beginning of a strategic collaboration between TOCAL and K-Indev Logistics to build an integrated logistics platform that combines EV-powered last-mile delivery, fulfilment infrastructure and nationwide logistics capabilities. Founded by Dhairyasheel Deshmukh, TOCAL currently operates in Bengaluru, enabling sustainable logistics through technology-enabled EV fleet operations and last-mile delivery services for e-commerce, quick commerce and direct-to-consumer (D2C) brands.

As India’s digital commerce ecosystem continues to expand, businesses are seeking faster fulfilment, more efficient deliveries, and sustainable logistics solutions. TOCAL addresses these evolving needs through its integrated technology platform, which combines EV-powered delivery services, fulfilment centres, fleet management software, and rider enablement into a single ecosystem. This enables brands to simplify their supply chain operations while improving efficiency, scalability, and sustainability.

Commenting on the investment, Dhairyasheel Deshmukh, Founder & CEO, TOCAL, said: “This investment reinforces our conviction that India’s commerce ecosystem requires more than electric transportation; it requires modern, technology-driven logistics infrastructure. Our vision is to build the operating backbone that enables brands to store, fulfil and deliver products faster and in the most sustainable way. Together with K-Indev Logistics, we are creating an integrated platform that combines fulfilment through strategically located micro-warehouses with a tech-enabled EV fleet to support the next phase of India’s commerce growth.”

As part of the partnership, K-Indev Logistics will contribute its expertise in micro-warehousing, nationwide logistics operations and enterprise relationships, while TOCAL will strengthen the platform through its EV fleet operations, hyperlocal delivery capabilities, driver network and proprietary technology.

The investment proceeds will be used to:

  • Expand operations beyond Bengaluru into major metropolitan cities

  • Establish strategically located fulfilment centres

  • Scale TOCAL’s EV fleet and operational infrastructure

  • Enhance fleet, warehouse and order management technology

  • Strengthen enterprise sales and strategic partnerships

Over the next four to five years, TOCAL aims to expand to more than 15 cities, deploy over 20,000 electric vehicles, operate 75 fulfilment centres, and partner with over 1,000 brands.

TOCAL’s funding journey and growth story was featured on Startup Singam, streaming on JioHotstar from 5 July 2026.
