€11.6 million Series A funding round for fintech firm Tundr

Tundr, a fintech company that aims to simplify corporate welfare for businesses and employees, has announced that it has closed a Series A funding round worth €11.6 million, marking a new milestone in its journey following the seed round in April 2025. The company has enjoyed three years of growth at a rate of 200 per cent per annum – which has seen it manage the benefits of 2,000 companies, covering over 100,000 employees – and now aims to make its technology available to an ever-wider range of stakeholders.

Welfare service providers, banks, employment agencies, insurance companies, employment consultants and payroll firms will be able to use the technology developed by the fintech company to integrate and offer welfare services, thereby contributing to Tundr’s vision: to democratise access to employee benefits for businesses and, above all, for the people who benefit from them.

“Corporate welfare is a market that continues to see double-digit growth, where a digital standard has not yet been established: this is precisely the space we want to operate in. “Bolstered by the confidence of our investors, we are preparing to scale up our model for clients and partners,” says Giorgio Seveso, CEO and founder of Tundr (pictured), in a statement. “We will be rolling out new product features as early as this autumn: we want to make Tundr a benchmark and, at the same time, the fintech enabler for the entire world of corporate benefits.”

“We see Tundr as a systemic player capable of working with a wide range of organisations, from small businesses to listed companies. Our investment recognises a young company that is putting its technological excellence at the service of the national economy, helping the labour market to function more effectively,” says Laura Scaramella, head of the Servicetech sector at CDP Venture Capital’s Corporate Partners I fund.

This funding round, which supports Tundr in this new phase of growth and consolidation, sees the entry of CDP Venture Capital (through the Servicetech sub-fund of the Corporate Partners I fund) and the continued support of 360 Capital and Azimut, which had already participated in the previous seed round. In line with the company’s positioning, financial institutions such as Kairos Partners and Crédit Agricole Italia, Sella Direct Ventures and a group of entrepreneurs from the tech ecosystem and the financial sector are also taking part in the transaction, including Alessandro Fracassi (MOL Group), Claudio Erba (Docebo), Enrico Mattiazzi (Fiscozen) and Paolo Basilico (Samhita Investments).

The capital increase also coincides with a key transition in the company’s governance: Carlo Enrico, previously an investor and director from the previous funding round, takes on the role of chairman of Tundr’s board of directors. Throughout his career, Enrico has held positions at Goldman Sachs and Mastercard, as well as within the Italian banking sector at Banco di Sicilia and BancoPosta, and in the fintech sector as a board member of Pomelo and Verestro. As chairman, he will help to develop Tundr’s corporate structure, combining a long-term vision with the agility that has characterised the company since its inception.

“I am delighted to be able to put my experience at the disposal of the company’s management. In these early years, Tundr has managed to build a world-class shareholder base that is highly representative of the sector it serves, bringing together venture capital funds, institutional investors and entrepreneurs. All of them are actively involved in the project,” says Enrico.
