Join the program that has built one of Australia’s most compelling startup track records.
The UNSW Founders 10x Accelerator program (10x) has backed 135 startups, helped raise $277 million in post-program funding and generated more than $1 billion in combined enterprise value since its establishment in 2017.
The 10-week intensive program equips startup founders with the skills, connections and capital to get to market, scale and grow. Participants emerge not just with knowledge, but a robust, actionable strategy for success.
Recent 10x alumni successes include Sydney-based compliance tech startup AssuranceLab being acquired by US professional services firm Sensiba in April 2025. Also, regional NSW biomanufacturing startup Cauldron closed a $13.25 million Series A2 round led by Main Sequence Ventures, bringing its total funding to $26 million, alongside recognition as a World Economic Forum technology pioneer and one of Fast Company’s most innovative companies in Asia-Pacific.
“10x is built on philanthropy and community – people who believe in backing founders before it’s a sure thing,” said Sasha Whittle, 10x Program Manager.
“That generosity compounds over time, in the networks formed, the knowledge shared and the doors opened. The ambition in the room is something else, and it’s incredibly exciting to be part of what comes next.”

The program has expanded global support this year.
The recently launched Global Innovation Foundry creates structured commercialisation pathways into international markets, building on the Global Landing Pads program which has already helped 38 startups expand into hubs including San Francisco, Singapore, London and Shanghai.
The 10x Accelerator program runs across three streams – All Industries, Health and Climate. The Health and Climate streams are open to any Australian founder, regardless of UNSW affiliation, who fit the respective remits.
You are eligible for the program if:
- you’re building a tech-enabled startup or you’re an academic or researcher looking to spin out
- you have proof of concept, prototype or MVP with some market validation
- your company is or will be an Australian registered Pty Ltd
- you’re building in the health or climate program mandate, or one of your co-founders is a current UNSW student, staff or alumnus.
Accepted startups receive $100,000 in investment, 10 weeks of intensive mentoring and workshops, weekly 1:1 sessions with an Entrepreneur-in-Residence and co-working space post-program.
